Ease Of Use for Match.com:

Match.com is very easy to use, with very little ads. The site is very straightforward and you can choose the way your Matches are displayed, with a picture or without. The navigation is very simple and is the easiest site to use so far from the sites reviwed.

Signup Procedure for Match.com:

The sign up process is very easy, you enter your details on the home page; email address, age, location and what you are looking for. When you submit that you are taken to a profile details form.

The dating site starts off asking you to fill in some simple answer questions; make sure you fill these in so that you can be matched to the right people.

Once you have completed these you then move on to the usual dropdown and tickbox choices for most of the questions, though the choices you are given means you can usually find an answers that fits, unlike other sites that use this sort of form. Tell the truth here as this will help others find you so you have a higher chance of finding your soul mate.

Next comes the bit about you, this again is free text answer, you can enter up to 4000 characters, though you don’t have to enter that many. Make yourself look good so that people will contact you, you don't always have to make the first move.

When you have completed that you are asked to upload a photo, which is the most important part. Upload a picture you are proud of as this will be the first thing that attracts potential lovers.

Member Levels:

There are only two member levels on Match.com, paid and un-paid.

Unpaid members can search, view profiles, upload their photos, send winks to matches, add to thier favourites and also see who has looked at thier profile.

Once you’re a paid member of Match.com you have access to everything, as well as messaging. This is recomened as paid members are real people looking for a serious relationship, they are not joining just for a joke. I have had numerous dates because I was a paid member and people know that I am genuine.

Subscribing to Match.com gives you access to many tools that will help you find the relationship you want and deserve.

As a subscriber you can:

Receive and reply to emails from other Match.com subscribers

Send emails to Match.com members you are interested in

Keep track of all open connections in one place – including those you've sent a wink to

Remove members you're not interested in from your search results to make room other possibilities

And much much more.

Search Tools:

The search function on this site is amazing the best we have seen so far.

There are a number of search options set as basic searches, you can search for the pre programmed search, this is set to your basic profile entries when you signed up.

Or you can expand them by using the more search options; which allows you to expand your search out but still keeping it unspecific.

And you can search for those that match you by clicking on the mutual matches’ button, this will give you a list of matches that match your profile between 100% and 90%, when we tried it we had 50 pages of results.

If that is not enough for you, you click on the "keep Customising" button, which opens up a huge page and lets you customise your search with all the options listed in your profile on sign up.

Also a cool little feature is the reverse match, which allows you to search for matches that are looking for what you have entered in your profile, you can find who is looking for the same as you increasing your chances of finding the right match.
